Those who know me well, know that I love to hike. During my travels in Singapore I found a few hikes, this one is my favorite. MacRitchie Reservoir is a beautiful nature park. To get here, you can take the MRT. Use the Circle Line to reach Marymount MRT Station (CC16). From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the reservoir’s entrance. Alternatively, take the bus to your destination. Bus: You can use bus services 52, 74, 93, 157, 165, 852, and 855. These buses stop along Lornie Road, near the entrance to MacRitchie Reservoir Park.
Stunning Nature and Scenery: MacRitchie Reservoir is part of Singapore’s central catchment area. It offers scenic forested trails around the reservoir. These trails are perfect for bloggers who cover nature, rainforests and hiking. We spent the rest of the hike a bit scared of the monkeys but it made for a fantastic tale. Just make sure your packs are closed and try not to carry opened food.
